Got Skills Basketball Program

Come work on you basketball skills in a fun and friendly environment!

Mondays beginning 4/10 - 5/22, 6 sessions

$54 (member) / $108 (non-member)

Basketball Level 1 (ages 6 - 8): 4:30pm - 5:15pm

Perfect for the grade school player that is brand new to basketball.  Players will focus on learning the basic skills of passing, dribbling, and shooting.  Coaches will keep it fun while players will focus on the fundamentals and get to know this awesome sport.

Basketball Level 2 (ages 8 - 10): 5:30pm - 6:15pm

Perfect for the grade school player that has some experience with basketball.  Players will focus on improving passing, dribbling, and shooting skills.  Players will begin to work on combinations while also being introduced to some defensive and offensive concepts.

Basketball Level 3 (ages 10 - 12): 6:30pm - 7:15pm

Perfect for the grade school to early middle school player with a good amount of experience in basketball.  With increased speed, players will challenge their basic skills knowledge and will continue to be introduced to more advanced combinations and defensive/offensive concepts.

Got Skills Volleyball Program

Wednesdays beginning 4/10 - 5/22 6 sessions

$54 (member) / $108 (non-member)

Volleyball - Skills (ages 8 - 11): 5:30pm - 6:15pm

This class is perfect for your grade schooler eager to learn basic volleyball skills and movements while also having fun!  Players can expect to work up a sweat passing, setting, serving, hitting and more.  Knee pads are recommended but not necessary for this class.

Volleyball - Middle School Blockers (ages 11 - 14): 6:30pm -  7:15pm

Athletes looking to improve their skills or prepare for fall try-outs will love this class.  While working on the basic skills, players will be challenged to develop each part of the game and will get many tips to continue practicing at home.  Knee pads are recommended for this class but are not necessary.

Swim Team

Great workouts, stroke development, increased endurance, dryland training, virtual swim meets, in-person swim meets (pending Covid-19 guidelines) with many elements of fun.
This program is perfect for strong swimmers ages 5-21.


Purple Group (age 12 and under): Tuesday & Thursday 6:15pm - 7:15pm
Blue Group (age 12 and under): Monday, Wednesday & Friday 6:15pm - 7:15pm
Red Group (age 13+): Monday through Friday 7:30pm - 9:00pm


Swimmers must be able to swim continuously in the 4 following strokes - butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke and freestyle.
Swimmers are not required to attend every practice but credits will not be given for missed practices.

Got Skills Cheer & Dance

Love to dance?  Got lots of spirit?  Then we have the class for you!

This dynamic, fun-filled class combines dance, jumps, cheers and chants for athletes for all levels of experience.  Learn dance fundamentals, terminology and choreography while having fun improving coordination, balance and self esteem.  Campers will learn a routine and have an opportunity to perform for their family and friends.

Session runs from 4/10 - 5/22, 6 sessions

Days: Thursdays

Time: 5:30pm - 6:15pm (Studio 2)

Cost: $54 (member) / $108 (non-member)

Soccer Skills

The YMCA Soccer Program is a fun skill-builder program for players of all abilities.  No prior experience is required.

Session runs from 4/10 - 5/15 (6 weeks)

Days: Saturdays

Times: 9am -10am (ages 7 - 8) & 10 - 11am (ages 9 - 10)

Cost: $54 (member) / $108 (non-member)

What can you expect in this program?

  • All classes are taught by the Crystal Lake Soccer Federation professional coaching staff

  • Fun, technical activities to develop dribbling, passing, receiving and shooting

  • Small-sided games to develop teamwork, decision making & game understanding

  • Positive coaching to instill confidence, sportsmanship & a love of the game

What should you bring?

  • Please wear either soccer cleats or gym shoes

  • Comfortable athletic clothing

  • Water Bottle, Mask,Shin guards are optional

  • A soccer ball if you have one.  If not, one will be provided.

Sports Tots

Does your child love sports? Look no further than Sports Tots! This class allows parents and children to participate together in numerous, fun activities and sports that focus on developing motor and listening skills. Parents are required to participate in activities, which may include baseball, soccer, basketball and more!

Session runs 4/13 - 5/25, 6 sessions

Days: Tuesdays

Time: 4:30pm - 5:15pm
