At the Sage YMCA, we regard each child as a unique individual, to be understood, guided, encouraged and valued. Our programs provide children the ability to learn through play, and confidently explore and build a positive self-image. Our teachers are professionally trained and DCFS-certified, with continual professional development to ensure the best and most current practices in the classroom. We are proud to implement The Creative Curriculum, which is fully aligned with state and national Early Learning Standards. The curriculum focuses on the interests of the children, which creates the study topics of our lessons.

The Creative Curriculum develops social, emotional and physical development, language, literacy, math and cognitive skills. The curriculum also includes science, social studies and the arts to develop the whole child based on their individual developmental needs. Our all day and half day program options give children an opportunity to fully engage and explore in a child centered environment that supports the unique needs of each child.
