YMCA Partnership Spotlight: PNC Bank

The YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago is partnering with PNC Bank to help bring their mobile banking branches to Chicago communities, promoting economic empowerment and lifelong learning! 

PNC has maintained mobile banking units for more than 15 years to empower people in need of in-person banking services. Their first Chicago-bound mobile unit was deployed in September 2020 to make PNC’s financial tools and educational offerings more accessible to diverse and low- and moderate-income communities. 

Since October 2023, PNC’s mobile banking truck has stopped at the McCormick YMCA and the South Side YMCA every two weeks to provide banking services and financial education content to our communities. The mobile banking truck offers information about savings, budgeting, online banking, and more; ATM services; checking or savings account opening; and help with online and mobile banking. 

The Y is proud to join PNC as a community partner, working together to strengthen Chicagoland by connecting all people toward the resources necessary to reach their financial goals. You can find a PNC mobile banking truck at the McCormick YMCA every other Tuesday morning or at the South Side YMCA every other Friday afternoon.
