CityKey Registration Event at South Side YMCA

Unlock Chicago with CityKey — an initiative that helps empower all Chicago residents to discover the city’s resources and opportunities!  

The Chicago CityKey program works to ensure that all Chicago residents have an official government ID that also acts as a Ventra, Chicago Public Library and Rx Discount card! Plus, CityKey ID holders can access benefits and discounts to various Chicago-based businesses and organizations, from restaurants to museums to financial institutions, and more! 

Join us at the South Side YMCA for a CityKey onsite registration event on Wednesday, April 16, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Chicago CityKey team will be available in person to help you register and print a CityKey ID at this one-stop shop! 

We highly encourage you to schedule an appointment to ensure you have a time slot. If no appointment times are available, walk-ins will be accepted from 2 to 3 p.m. If you are planning to arrive for a walk-in appointment, you must call ahead to the South Side Y front desk at 773-947-0700 to be added to the walk-in list. 

CityKey applicants must bring Proof of Identity and Proof of Residency, a CityKey application, and a confirmation code, which can be found in your appointment confirmation email.
