Celebrating the Y Spirit at Foglia Y’s Taste of the YMCA

The Foglia YMCA community had an amazing time last month at our Taste of the YMCA fall fundraiser, hosted and sponsored by the Foglia Family Foundation!  

We enjoyed the foods and refreshments local to our Chicagoland YMCAs and heard remarks from YMCA leaders — Vicki Pesch, Foglia YMCA Advisory Board Chair; Dorri McWhorter, President & CEO, YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago; and Vince Foglia, Foglia YMCA Advisory Board Member and Founder of the Foglia Family Foundation.  

Not only did we have a wonderful evening of celebration and connection, but we also raised more than $136,000 for the Foglia YMCA Scholarship Fund. Thanks to our dedicated supporters and partners, the Foglia Y can continue our mission of connecting all people to their purpose, potential, and each other by providing equitable access to Y programming.
