Members, Join Us For a Free Film Screening of “Most Likely to Succeed”
The YMCA’s Education Series is dedicated to screening award-winning and impactful documentaries and series at YMCAs across Chicagoland. The screenings will be followed by professionally facilitated discussions and reflections where, as a community, we’ll make connections to relevant issues, resources and networks both within the Y and beyond.
For our first film in the series, the Elmhurst YMCA will be showing Most Likely to Succeed, a feature-length documentary that examines the history of education in the United States, revealing the growing shortcomings of conventional education methods in today's innovative world. The film explores compelling new approaches that aim to revolutionize teaching as we know it, inspiring school communities to reimagine what students and teachers are capable of doing. To date, "Most Likely To Succeed" has screened for thousands of audiences around the world, igniting conversations and empowering change along the way.
YMCA members are welcome to join us for the movie, snacks and prizes, and thought-provoking discussion on this date:
- Oct. 2, 6:30-8:30 p.m., Elmhurst YMCA
