Meet Our Day Camp Team: Connor Duffy
Connor Duffy, one of the Elmhurst YMCA’s Day Camp Counselors, is from Western Springs, Illinois. He is a student at the College of DuPage, where he is considering a career as an HVAC technician. Connor likes running and has a pet fish named Bubbles. This summer, he’s looking forward to meeting new counselors and kids!
Q: Why did you choose to become a Counselor for the Y?
A: I want to make a positive difference in kids’ lives.
Q: What do you like most about the work that the Y does?
A: I like how it creates happy memories for kids.
Q: What’s one thing people don’t know about you that they would be surprised to find out?
A: I have a scar on my foot in the shape of a stegosaurus.
Q: If you could have any superpower, what would it be (and why)?
A: Flight — it’s cool.
Q: What’s the last song you listened to?
A: “Breezeblocks” by alt-J.
Q: What’s one thing on your bucket list?
A: To go to Rome.

A: I have been to Singapore.
