Let them play. Watch them grow. At the Crown Family Y’s Early Learning Demonstration Center (ELDC), we foster joy, language skills, and critical thinking through a play-based curriculum for children from ages 6 weeks to 5 years old.   

Registration Is Year-round!

Trusting Relationships, Hands-On Care, and Fun

Our programs are designed to provide hands-on nurturing relationships with well-trained professionals dedicated to the transformative Power of Play. Our team is familiar with the neighborhood, our programming shares your values and heritage, and our focus is always on your child’s growth and development. Upon enrollment, each youth is assigned a primary caregiver or teacher, who remains with the youth until they transition to the next developmental stage and primary class grouping. Through these connections, youth learn, move, and have fun!

The Power of Play is not reserved for those with time and resources to spare. It’s something we believe all children and all families should experience. That’s why the Y offers financial assistance for our Early Learning programs, with funding sources that include: 

  • Preschool for All and Prevention Initiative Grants 
  • Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) 
  • Y scholarships, as they are available
