Buehler YMCA Staff Members Tom Reynolds and Matt Swanson Receive September “Game Ball”

Buehler YMCA employees and September “Game Ball” recipients Tom Reynolds and Matt Swanson are more than just bus drivers for the Buehler Y. They’re a critical part of the team, ensuring dozens of kids make it safely to and from our center each week. 

More often than not, they’re also the highlight of the school day for the kids of Buehler Y. Mr. Tom and Mr. Matt are always ready with a smile, a joke, or a piece of wisdom to welcome their riders before and after school. 

What makes them even more special is their willingness to lend a helping hand. Tom personally ensures that the Buehler Y’s landscaping always looks its best. Matt regularly jumps into our kitchen to prepare snacks or help with odd jobs that come up.

For these reasons and so many more, the Buehler YMCA leadership team selected Tom and Matt to receive the September Buehler Y Game Ball. Each month, recipients are chosen for embodying the mission of the YMCA, producing exceptional work, and making the Buehler Y a better, more playful place for our members, program participants, and staff.
