The McCormick YMCA is actively recruiting energetic, professional people for positions including:

Fitness Director Manages the operations of the assigned programs and staff, in areas such as fitness, active older adults, and/or strength training.  Ensures that programs operate in a quality manner, consistent with YMCA guidelines and standards. Full-time.
Active Green Space Coordinator Coordinates assigned programs, partnerships and staff, in the Active Green Space area, focused on providing education and services related to nutrition, horticulture, renewable energy and physical fitness. Coordinator position will ensure that programs operate in a quality manner, consistent with YMCA guidelines and standards.
Head Start Aide The Teacher Aide provides support to teaching team in planning and implementing learning experiences for children; maintaining classroom; and managing children in accordance with the YMCA goals and curriculum plan. Part-time.
Lifeguards Part of the Aquatics team, Lifeguards are responsible for monitoring swimming areas and providing assistance and protection to users of the pool and aquatic facility as outlined under the standards of the YMCA. Must be at least 16 years of age. Part-time.
Swim Instructors This key member of the Aquatics team provides group and private swim lessons for program participants that adheres to YMCA standards for curriculum, instructional quality, safety certifications and other requirements. Must be 16 years of age. Part-time.
